Activities planned by FIM-CISL , Italy
FIM-CISL is planning two particular activities during the week of action on precarious work.
1. From October 5 to 9 the local Unions in Bergamo of FIM-CISL, FIOM-CGIL and UILM-UIL jointly workers' representatives (RSU) of BREMBO Group are organizing meetings of all workers in the plants, talking on Brembo Italy' collective bargaining at enterprise level, informing about the struggle of BREMBO and BOSCH workers in Pune, India, and taking solidarity actions.
2. October 10, FIM' affiliates are taking part at the national march in Rome promoted from our trade union CISL, calling Government and enterprisers to ensure equal rights for immigrants and precarious workers: “No there is integration without rights, duties, decent work and safety".
For more secure employment, against precarious work
The EMF Collective Bargaining Policy Conference 2009 launched the 2nd Common Demand:
“For more secure employment, against precarious work”,
which will be included in the collective bargaining demands of all its 75 affiliated trade unions and in future collective bargaining rounds throughout Europe over the next four years.
